LAUTECH to collaborate with drug free project

 Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has expressed readiness to deepen its preparedness to help raise resistance to abuse or drugs and other harmful substance. Welcoming a team of youths committed to reaching out to 20 Million Nigerians through media outreach to expose the danger of drug abuse, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, highlighted the dangerous effect of abuse of substance on Nigerian youths, explaining that it is not a risk o the user and their parents alone, but to the Nigerian economy. LAUTECH PG students sign Oath of Allegiance

     No fewer than 2,045  Postgraduate students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, officially commenced the pursuit of their dreams for Higher Degrees when they signed Oath of allegiance on Wednesday June 11, 2025. The event which marked the 27th anniversary of the Postgraduate school held at the Hall and was presided over by the University Vice Chancellor, Professor Razaq  Olatunde Rom Kalilu.  Olalekan Fadeyi Deputy Registrar (Public Relations), Directorate of Vice Chancellor's Office, LAUTECH,  Ogbomoso.  

Faculty of Clinical Sciences holds 3rd Lecture

    Above photograph is of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Strategy and Innovation), Professor Dahud Olurotimi Araromi, who represented the Vice Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, at the 3rd Faculty Lecture of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences of the College of Health Sciences.   Scholar urges FG to prioritize rail transportation of Petroleum products   Renowned Professor of surgery and specialist plastic surgeon, Professor Peter Babatunde Olaitan of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has tasked the Federal Government to reconsider transportation of petroleum products through rail over road in Nigeria.  Delivering the third Lecture of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences in the College of Health Sciences of the University, he also said the Federal government should enact laws to enhance effective monitoring of tankers, drivers on the road towards reducing auto accidents.  Delivering the third Lecture of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences in the College of Health Sciences of the University, he also urged the government to strive towards improving pipelines to avoid or reduce road transportation of fuel and gas.  Treating the topic: “Beyond the Scars: Confronting the burden of Hydrocarbon burn injurie...

IGP appoints LAUTECH don as Co-Editor of Journal

  IGP appoints LAUTECH don to Editorial position Former Dean of Computing and Informatics at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Professor Adeolu Afolabi, has been appointed a Co-Editor of the Nigeria Police Force Academic Journal (NPFAJOL) BY THE Inspector General of the Nigeria Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun. In a letter dated May 14, 2024 and signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Lateef Adio Ahmed, on behalf of the Police boss, Professor Afolabi’s appointment was said to be in recognition of “your scholarly contributions, editorial experience and demonstrated commitment to academic excellence, particularly in areas relevant to Law enforcement, Criminology, Security and Allied Disciplines.” According to the letter, Professor Afolabi’s role as a Co-Editor shall be for an initial period of two years, but renewable based on performance and mutual agreement. “It is honorary.” “We value your voluntary commitment to furthering academic discour...
