LAUTECH to collaborate with drug free project
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has expressed readiness to deepen its preparedness to help raise resistance to abuse or drugs and other harmful substance. Welcoming a team of youths committed to reaching out to 20 Million Nigerians through media outreach to expose the danger of drug abuse, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, highlighted the dangerous effect of abuse of substance on Nigerian youths, explaining that it is not a risk o the user and their parents alone, but to the Nigerian economy. Represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Strategy and Development), Professor Tunde Ogunkunle, the Vice Chancellor said the University was ready to further its contribution to fighting the war against abuse of substance as it has resolved to involve professionals in its workforce to ensure that the battle against drug abuse is won.
