LAUTECH begins 18th Convocation with Press Conference

The week-long 18th Convocation Ceremonies of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, commences this morning with a Press Conference to be addressed by the Institution's Vice Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu. It is scheduled to take place this morning at 9:00 A. M. All members of the University community are expected to grace the occasion at the Council Chamber of the A. M. Salau Senate Building at the Institution's main Campus in Ogbomoso. The Press Conference among other things will provide the University an opportunity to report happenings between last year and now.

Change in venue of 73rd Inaugural Lecture

This is to inform all and sundry that the venue of the 73rd Inaugural Lecture of LAUTECH, coming up tomorrow, has been changed from the Great Hall of the University to the 1500 seaters hall, College of Health Sciences of the University, opposite the Ogbomoso Recreation Club. All other things remain as previously announced. We regret all inconveniences the change may have caused.

Convinced that the nation needs peace and cooperation to seek the face of God to have peace and especially overcome insurgency in Nigeria, now more than ever before, members of LAUTECH Muslim Community (LMC) at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have extended hands of friendship to their Christian counterparts by inviting them to the Ramadan Lecture 1447, holding on Wednesday 4th March, 2026 at the 1200 Lecture Theater, LAUTECH Main Campus, Ogbomoso. Titled: Poverty Eradication in Islamic Perspective, the Lecture to be addressed by Professor AbdulHafiz Oladosu of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, University of Ibadan, starts at 11:00a.m prompt  Chief Imam of LAUTECH Muslim Community, Professor AndulWahab Tijani said the Lecture was designed to be a pure academic programme and benefit all, irrespective of religious leaning.
