LAUTECH shines at Nigerian Academy of Engineering National Innovation Competition

    LAUTECH emerges first runner-up at Nigerian Academy of Engineering National Innovation Competition, wins N6m, $2,000                                   From left, Ajibade Ifeoluwa, Faizat Olubori and Mubarak Erinfolami. Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has once again affirmed its reputation for excellence in innovation and research, emerging as the First runner-up at the third National Innovation Competition organised by the Nigerian Academy of Engineering.  The university team received a cash prize of N6,000,000 and an additional $2,000 at the competition, which was held in Lagos on June 24, 2026.   LAUTECH holds thanksgiving prayer session as VC, staff celebrate end of abduction ordeal         The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, on Tuesday held an interfaith thanksgiving and prayer session to appreciate God for the safe rescue of the spouses of two members of staff and other victims abducted by kidnappers in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State.   LAUTECH students encouraged to pursue global opportunities at Mastercard Foundation Scholarship information session   Students of the Department of Political Science, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have been encouraged to pursue international academic opportunities.  The call was made on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at a Mastercard Foundation Scholarship information session facilitated by Richard Ige, a Mastercard Foundation scholar at Sciences Po, Paris.  The event was hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Professor Frank Temisanren Ebijuwa, who was represented by Professor Niyi Osunbade, and Head of the Department of Political Science, Dr. John Olanrewaju.
