Double honour has birthed at the doorstep of renowned researcher and Professor of Microbiology at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Prof. Agbaje Lateef. LAUTECH Muslims find common ground with Christians, invite them to Ramadan Lecture

Convinced that the nation needs peace and cooperation to seek the face of God to have peace and especially overcome insurgency in Nigeria, now more than ever before, members of LAUTECH Muslim Community (LMC) at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have extended hands of friendship to their Christian counterparts by inviting them to the Ramadan Lecture 1447, holding on Wednesday 4th March, 2026 at the 1200 Lecture Theater, LAUTECH Main Campus, Ogbomoso. Don advocates conversion of agricultural wastes to wealth to boost economy

Renowned researcher and eminent scholar in the field of Physical and Environmental Chemistry at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Professor Olugbenga Solomon Bello, has called for a policy to encourage conversion of agricultural wastes to wealth to boost the economy of the Nigerian nation. Delivering the 10th Lecture of the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences of the University, titled: Valorization of Agricultural Wastes: A Resource for Environmental Remediation and Wealth Creation”,  Olugbenga Bello posited that valorization of agricultural wastes is a significant avenue for wealth creation through transforming discarded materials into valuable products such as biofuels, organic fertilizers, animal feeds and biomaterials, thereby generating new revenue streams, creating jobs, and reducing environmental pollution. Doctoral students of Professor Oloke endow Award of One Million Naira in his name  Former Doctoral students of renowned Professor Julius Kola Oloke, at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, this afternoon, honoured the renowned Professor of Microbiology and Biotechnology, through an endowment of One Million Naira(N1,000,000:00) only. To be known as 'Professor Julius Kola Oloke Prize for the Best Graduating Student in Microbiology' with cash award of one Hundred Thousand Naira to be awarded at the first-degree convocation ceremonies of the University, it is to be managed by the University. LAUTECH matriculates 9,590 fresh students, urges compliance with rules and regulations

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, this morning at a colourful matriculation ceremony formally admitted to 9, 590 new students into the membership of the University community. The Freshers are being brought in to study for their first degrees in the various Departments of the Institution wholly owned by the Oyo State Government. In his address at the event, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, admonished the students to count themselves lucky to have been admitted into the University which he said is steadily growing in leaps and bounds since Governor Seyi Makinde led Oyo State Government to take full ownership of the Institution.
