LAUTECH Muslims find common ground with Christians, invite them to Ramadan Lecture


Convinced that the nation needs peace and cooperation to seek the face of God to have peace and especially overcome insurgency in Nigeria, now more than ever before, members of LAUTECH Muslim Community (LMC) at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have extended hands of friendship to their Christian counterparts by inviting them to the Ramadan Lecture 1447, holding on Wednesday 4th March, 2026 at the 1200 Lecture Theater, LAUTECH Main Campus, Ogbomoso.

Titled: Poverty Eradication in Islamic Perspective, the Lecture to be addressed by Professor AbdulHafiz Oladosu of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, University of Ibadan, starts at 11:00a.m prompt 

Chief Imam of LAUTECH Muslim Community, Professor AndulWahab Tijani said the Lecture was designed to be a pure academic programme and benefit all, irrespective of religious leaning.
