LAUTECH inducts second set of theatre Arts Students

Photographs of dignitaries and students taken at the 2nd induction of Theatre Arts Students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, this afternoon at the Great Hall of the University. 

Invited Nolywood icons at the event included the Head, Theatre Arts Department of the Lagos State University of Education, Dr. Azeez Oyetoro aka Saka and former Arts Director of the Kwara State Council for Arts and Culture, Olori Adeola Olanipekun , Amin others.

Vice Chancellor of LAUTECH, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, during a courtesy call on him and other members of Management said the University was poised to capture the area of entertainment and produce well grounded professionals like it has done in other areas of human endeavour.

He said the Institution will soon build its own troupe. 

Other dignitaries at the event were: Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Innovations), Professor Dahud Olurotimi Araromi, Registrar; Mrs. Olayinka Balogun, Bursar; Mr. Olusegun Olatokun, a member of the Governing Council; Professor Thompson Ade Adejumo, Acting Director of Internal Audit; Mr. Ismail Adigun and  Dean of the Environmental Sciences Department, Professor Margaret Areo, as well as the Deputy Dean of Arts and Social Sciences; Professor Adeolu Adeniji.

Others were Head, Department of Theatre Arts Department; Professor Taiwo Oloruntoba-Oju and a host of others.
