267 LAUTECH graduates inducted into professional bodies
Still basking in the success of its recently held 17th Convocation Ceremonies, the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso has enlisted Two hundred and sixty-seven fresh graduates of the University, into two different Professional bodies- the Nigeria Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) and the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
At two separate events coordinated by officers of the bodies in Ogbomoso today, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, emphasized the importance of Professional certification.
Represented at the MLSCN event by the University Librarian, Dr. Adefunke Sarah Ebijuwa, he said Management of the Institution felt delighted to realize efforts of the graduates to legitimize their operations.
He re-emphasized this also, at the NISLT induction, where he spoke through the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Innovation) Professor Dahud Araromi.
He said Management was redoubling efforts to ensure that it deployed all within its power to making the University truly the best.
At the end of the day, one hundred and eighty-nine fresh graduates including the overall best graduate in the University for the 2023/2024 Academic Session, Adeduntan Badirat were inducted into the NISLT while another Seventy-Eight graduates from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science got enlisted into the MLSCN.
