VC echoes family announcement for burial of Professor Olabode










 Vice Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, with a mournful heart, has directed that the University Community be informed that the family of Late Professor Olayinka Samuel Olabode hitherto of the Department of Crop Protection and Soil Science, in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the University, has announced that his remains will be buried on October 2nd and 3rd, 2025.
Commendation service in his honour holds on October 1st, 2025.
Please let us make arrangements to pay our last respect to our cherished departed colleague.

LAUTECH out with requirements for 2025/2026 undergraduate admissions

2025/2026 Admission Candidates who applied to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, as their first-choice institution in the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) have been informed about the opening of admission portal for online registration with effect from Friday, 25th July 2025. The portal would remain open till Wednesday, 20th August, 2025. General Requirements are: 1.    UTME Candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 marks in the 2025/2026 UTME to be eligible for screening. 2.    Candidates must upload O'Level results to JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before 20th August, 2025. 3.    Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30th September, 2025 to be eligible for admission.   NELFUND students loan: LAUTECH never fiddled with funds Our attention has been drawn to the obnoxious story on the front page of the Guardian Newspaper edition of Tuesday April 29, 2025 in which it reported that 51 Universities were found to have made illegal deductions from the Nigeria Education Loan Funds (NELFUND) facilitated by the Federal Government.
