LAUTECH sets August 14 for 12th Annual Registry Discourse

 
 
 

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has announced plans to hold its 12th Annual Registry Discourse on Friday, 14 August, 2026, at the university's Great Hall.

The programme, scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m., will feature the Registrar of the University of Ibadan, Mr. Ganiyu Saliu, as the guest lecturer.

The chairperson of the Local Organising Committee, Mrs. Oluyinka Akinyode, disclosed that the Vice-Chancellor of LAUTECH, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, will serve as the Chief Host, while the university's Registrar, Mrs. Olayinka Balogun, will host the discourse.

The 12th Registry Discourse is themed, 'The Future-Ready University Registry: Leading Institutional Transformation in an Era of Change'.

  LAUTECH students encouraged to pursue global opportunities at Mastercard Foundation Scholarship information session   Students of the Department of Political Science, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have been encouraged to pursue international academic opportunities.  The call was made on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at a Mastercard Foundation Scholarship information session facilitated by Richard Ige, a Mastercard Foundation scholar at Sciences Po, Paris.  The event was hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Professor Frank Temisanren Ebijuwa, who was represented by Professor Niyi Osunbade, and Head of the Department of Political Science, Dr. John Olanrewaju.
